The variety of animal types in this set is impressive - from insects like ladybugs and butterflies to sea creatures like fish and octopuses. It's a great way to introduce my child to different species while they play. We often look up pictures of the real animals after building them.
The variety of textures and shapes in the bricks helps with sensory development. My child enjoys feeling the different surfaces and manipulating the various shapes, which helps with tactile discrimination and sensory processing. It's a great multi-sensory learning experience.
This set encourages creative thinking beyond just following instructions. My child has started modifying the designs to create 'hybrid' animals with features from different models. It's wonderful to see their imagination at work and watch them develop their own unique creations.
The educational value of this set becomes more apparent the longer my child plays with it. They're not just building - they're learning about spatial relationships, structural engineering, and creative design. These skills will benefit them in all areas of life, from math and science to art and design.
The compact design of this set makes it easy to store in small spaces. It fits neatly on a shelf in my child's bedroom, and the organized storage means we haven't lost any pieces. The portability also makes it easy to take to grandparents' houses or on vacation.
